Summary

The Data/Event Coordinator will support the Sales Team using tools, reports and key processes to assist with the achievement of revenue and business objectives. The role works collaboratively with internal cross functional teams through direct engagement and consultation.

The Data/Event Coordinator will be responsible for data entry of prospect/customer information into the company’s CRM and the planning, management, and distribution of tradeshow and conference materials.  The Coordinator works closely with Sales and Marketing Team members to ensure that the company and sales territory objectives, strategies, and information are current, aligned and implemented effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • This position reports to the VP of Sales.
  • Collect data on customers, competitors, and the industry and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
  • Independently translate a wide variety of publicly available customer and prospect data and input findings into the company’s CRM.
  • Gather, input and analyze data to enable the Sales Team and the company to better understand prospects and customers. Proactively translate data into usable, insightful information.
  • Maintain high data integrity in the company’s CRM.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing Team members in the execution of tradeshow/conference events on time and within budget – including project managing the boxing, labeling, packing, and tracking of various items.

Qualifications:

  • Experience using CRM software (Salesforce) and the ability to quickly learn additional productivity tools (e.g. marketing automation).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Shows initiative – engages in proactive behavior and collaborates with cross functional teams.
  • Very adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects at the same time

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful technology or election industry experience, with an emphasis on the Public Sector preferred.
  • Knowledge of, and direct work experience with, Government agencies and programs preferred.
  • Direct work experience with a sales team, CRM data, and event coordination.
