Senior Financial Analyst

Summary

Experienced financial professional needed to drive and support pricing and the sales function, analytics, forecasting, and preparation of financial plans.  Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and partnering with business leaders, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for sales and deal strategic modeling and pricing, competitive/business analysis, FP&A, reporting enhancements, actual vs forecast variance analysis, and ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the company’s pricing processes
  • Create and present analytics to support management
  • Prepare robust variance analysis and performance reporting and assist with the Budget process
  • Manage the company’s monthly and quarterly Forecast process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or economics; MBA preferred

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-8 years related work experience
  • Experience with pricing, RFPs and/or contracts (and partnership with the sales organization)
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills, strategic thinking, and analytical ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively, deal with ambiguity, and multi-task
  • Proficiency with P&L analysis, including unit economics and OpEx variance analysis
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated, with strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
